Dislodges Horrible Caked-On Gunk
With the back wheel removed from the bike, use a brush or rag to dislodge any loose dirt or accumulated grit from in-between the sprockets. Spray or brush degreaser onto the cassette, and leave it to drip from the sprockets. Use the serrated teeth tool to remove hard-to-reach crud from between cogs. The tough Nylon bristles on the special cleaning brush will help to remove any horrible caked-on gunk still hiding in the crevices. One last going over with a rag in-between each sprocket should finish the job off nicely.
